(Reuters) - An explosion devastated a government building in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, local television reported. A witness told the KFOR television station it was "unlikely anyone could survive" if they were in the building, and the station showed injured, bleeding people on the street.

(Reuters) - Federal law enforcement officials said on Wednesday they believed a large car bomb had been responsible for the deadly explosion at a government building in Oklahoma City. The officials confirmed a report on CNN that investigators believe the blast was caused by a car bomb located outside the building.

Nichols gets life for Oklahoma bombing

(CNN) - Terry Nichols was sentenced Thursday to spend the rest of his life in federal prison for his role as a conspirator in the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building. The bombing killed 168 people and injured more than 500 others. .S. District Judge Richard Matsch imposed the sentence of life without parole.

Edwin Angeles Killed in Philippines

(PNA) - One of the top leaders of the dreaded Abu Sayyaf operating in the province met his end after he was gunned down allegedly by own comrades. Edwin Angeles was gunned down after he came from a prayer at a nearby Mosque. The suspects were all armed with .45 cal. pistol when they approached Angeles from behind and started shooting.
